The blonde beauty was a little reluctant to give up her shiny accessory, but she said she’s ready to start her new chapter.
“My life has been amazing as Miss Universe Australia. There hasn’t been a day this past year that I haven’t felt grateful to be doing what I’m doing,” she said.
“I am definitely a little sad about it coming to an end, but I am also super excited to see what the next chapter holds for me.”
With a year as Miss Universe under her belt, you’d think she’d need a break, but it’s full steam ahead for Miss Rogers.
“It’s hard to say exactly what you can expect from me at this point because I’m kind of taking things as they come at the moment! I’m not sure when I’ll go back to speech pathology work, but I do want to work on creating some books which is something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. I plan to get back into my art and hopefully continue building my business there. I will also definitely continue to use my voice to talk about mental health and positive body image.”
